Fine Arts.

I paint, and draw, and stuff...

I used to do a lot of fine arts projects and experimentations but with all of the school I have put myself through it has been put on the back burner more than I would like. I am slowly but surely getting back into it and will be posting more and more as I finish my pieces. I have done commissioned work as well as personal projects, both of which are displayed here.

I love crafts as well. I make gift baskets, scrapbook pages and hand-made cards. These are fun, do-it-while-you-can projects that don’t require a long term commitment but allow for creative expression nonetheless.

However, the time spent on it was not a waste as I learned many techniques to make dull and obscure-looking items appear more interesting. Orchids Acrylic on canvas. 3 - 1'x1' panels I never thought I liked flowers, My first paying client proved me wrong. Thank you.	Grandpa pencil on artist quality paper. 2'x3' An old project, from a doting granddaughter to an idol taken sooner than she would have liked. This portrait miraculously survived a house fire in 2008 where its counterpart, a portrait of a baby-girl (his daughter), was destroyed.	Spring '10 Chalk pastels on chalkboard. 3'x8' Growth, hope, and possibilities; Spring. William's Fresh Cafe commissioned me to do their chalk board for a few years while I worked for them. I was underpaid for the artwork I provided but I thoroughly enjoyed those shifts.
